We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Thursday Writings......4/14/16

Good Morning...
Today I was carrying some things into the house from the garage. My slipper caught on the door step and down I went. Our neighbor fell in her house last week and injured her shoulder. She is still having pain and disability from her fall. The good news is that she is slowly getting better. I have some residual aches but nothing that required an emergency room visit. My husband and I were talking about it, and he reminded me of our neighbor. Then he asked me what the lesson was from my fall this afternoon. My answer was that I do not know if there is a lesson. It was an accident, and accidents happen. I was not fooling around. Accidents happen.

The devotional for Wednesday is called, "Faith...A Release of Our Spiritual Authority " Brother Thomas and Jody Ward have a wonderful devotional about faith which brings miracles into the lives of people.

Have a Wondrous Thursday!

   Thursday Devotional

"Faith...A Release of Our Spiritual Authority "

And four men came to Jesus, carrying a paralyzed man between them on a makeshift stretcher made of mats and blankets. But they could not get into Jesus because the large crowd was packed tight and pressed against them, not allowing any room for the cot.

Since they could not get to a spot where they could place the paralyzed man in front of Jesus, they went up onto the flat rooftop and started digging through the mud and the boards that formed the roof.

When they had broken the roof up, right above where Jesus was, and scooped out an opening large enough to fit the man on his stretcher, they lowered him down on his bed in front of everyone, near where all the other sick and paralyzed were lying.

And Jesus saw how much faith they had and was impressed with their bold confidence in God through Him. He said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgive,” meaning that he was forgiven and now in right standing with God.

Mark 2.3-5

What attracted the immediate attention of Jesus was the faith He saw. Jesus was moved by the confidence, the trust, the positive attitude, and the level of expectation that He observed in the men who brought the paralyzed man to Him.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen Heb 11:1.

Faith is the gap between asking and receiving Mark 11:22-24.

Faith is the action that releases the spiritual and the supernatural into a physical materialization Luke 5:4-5, Acts 3:4-8.

Faith speaks God's language Gen 18:14 & Jer 32:36-27.

Faith sees beyond the symptoms of a situation to believe for the solution Mark 5:25-30.

Faith sees beyond the present, to see to future. Faith releases our spiritual authority to control a situation created by the enemy. Faith declares what God says we truly are, and not what our situation and environment has made us believe of ourselves Rom 8:1-3 & 37

 Psalm 126

All will be well from this day forward , you will be victorious and achieve all your goals. Jesus Christ visited your home, and on his way out he took all your concerns with him. So trust God today, and share this good news, Wait on the lord and watch his promises be fulfilled .

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,

we were like those who dreamed.

Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”

The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.

Restore our fortunes, Lord,

    like streams in the Negev.

Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.

Those who go out weeping,
    carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with them.
