We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Monday Writing...2/10/20..."Run To Him"

Good Morning,

This devotional is devoted to the fact that, whenever we are dealing with challenges and do not know what to do, we should run to God. He knows how to show His love and wisdom to us. Karen wrote, "Eternal life with Him and all the blessings it brings is a blessed assurance to all believers. Great is God’s faithfulness. He will never let us down."

This is the most important thing we can remember and rely on.

May God bless us all,
Karen Bennett

Today's Devotional
"Run To Him"
Written by
Karen Bennett

There are many times in our lives when fear and panic overtake us. We are confronted with situations that are overwhelming, and we aren’t at all certain what to do to remedy it. What do we do?

Some of us begin to think of what we can do
to rectify the situation and let time waste away
while trying to find the solution by ourselves.

Then there are those who run to the Lord, because they know that is where their answer lies. When you give yourself solely to Him, peace begins to flood your being. He is there for us, only a whisper away. Remember, He stands at the door and knocks, but we have to let Him in. He will never force Himself on us. Instead, He wants us to want Him.

Therefore, if we run to Him in trouble, He is lovingly there for us, full of compassion. If we run to Him in gratitude, He is happily there to help us celebrate. He arms are open to embrace us. He knows our help is in His name and is glad we know it, too. He is happy to fulfill His promises and happier still to welcome His children home to Him, showing the great love in His heart as He does. God loves us and wants to show us. It is His will to bless us, to shower us with gifts of love that we know for certain are from Him. His blessings are so beautiful, so filled with all we need and more. We know all this from the parable of the Prodigal Son.

“Cast all your cares on the Lord,
 and He will sustain you.
He will never let the righteous fall.”
Psalm 55:22.

There is nothing more comforting than being able to place our faith in God, and knowing we are safe and secure in His love and His promises. Eternal life with Him and all the blessings it brings is a blessed assurance to all believers. Great is God’s faithfulness. He will never let us down. We long for Him and all He gives us in the steadfastness He promises. He won’t let us falter. He will strengthen us. We need to live for Him first and all else will follow.

“Anyone who trusts in Him
will never be put to shame.”
Romans 10:11

Loving Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. You never fail us. You are steadfast and true, standing ready to keep Your promises every day. We long for You and run to You and all our needs, seeking Your forgiveness and Your embrace. We know You are there. The knowledge of eternity with You is of great joy to us here and now. Thank You! To You be all the glory! Amen!
