Thursday Writing...8/2/18..."Living Waters"

Good Morning,

The theme for today's writing is that Jesus pours out living water into those who believe in Him. The people who have received His living water will pass it forward , and it will be obvious that they do possess this precious living water to from Him due to their belief in Jesus. Here is a quote from this writing. "The Grace of God in our lives is revealed in the way we relate with people, even with those who do not like us. It means becoming a pipeline, serving as an aqueduct of living water through which God touches others."

Let us go out daily and share the water that Jesus has poured into us to everyone with whom we come in contact.

Today's Devotional

"Living Waters"
written by
Brother Thomas Ukwute
       and Jody Ward

The last day of the festival came and it was the most important day, the pinnacle of the feast. Jesus stood up and called out, shouting to the crowds, “All you thirsty ones, come to me. Come to Me and drink. Have faith in Me. Adhere to Me, trust in Me, rely on Me.”

“I tell you that anyone who believes in me this way will have rivers of living water flowing continuously from deep inside them. Life-giving water will brim over, spill out and burst from their heart, just as the Scriptures say.”
 John 7:37-38

The key to making impact in our society is keeping the water of life in us, fresh, clean and flowing to the world around us. Our lives should be a reservoir of grace. Streaming from our hearts, the springs of living water are the oasis that thirsty souls can drink from.

The Grace of God in our lives is revealed in the way we relate with people, even with those who do not like us. It means becoming a pipeline, serving as an aqueduct of living water through which God touches others.

When your enemy hungers, feed them with the love of God. When your enemy thirsts, give them the cool, living water of faith.

May our lives bring refreshing to the people around us and living water to the thirsty we come in contact with.

  1. I especially love this line, "The Grace of God in our lives is revealed in the way we relate with people, even with those who do not like us." Learning to put aside my thoughts and insecurities, so that I can allow God's love to flow through me. It is not easy. So I need to pray throughout my day, so His
grace is not blocked by my opinion.
