"Sometimes Reluctant?"
Written by

Do you ever feel worried over approaching God with your petitions and concerns? Do you feel unworthy, undeserving, because this time you committed a sin you feel is practically unforgivable?
There are times we feel so guilty we can’t quite forgive ourselves. We dwell in that sin mentally and have trouble bringing it to God. But, God has made it abundantly clear He wants us to bring everything to Him. The beauty of it is we are His children! We shouldn’t allow satan’s whisperings to keep us from seeking our Father with anything we face.
We need have no apprehension, no fear, in approaching our Father. Instead, we should be anxious to talk to Him! You can approach Him anywhere!.
we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”
Ephesians 3:12.
Don’t cave in to the devil and his promptings, which would keep us from God. As much as God wants us to come to Him, the evil one wants us to stay away! Our Father is all powerful and will draw us to Him through the Holy Spirit. We need just respond in the positive.
“Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name,
He gave the right to become children of God —-
children born not of natural descent,
nor of human decision or a husband’s will,
but born of God.”
John 1:12-13.
Abba, May we never forget You want us to come to You with everything, with thanksgiving for all You have blessed us with and continue to do so, with sorrow for our sins asking Your forgiveness, or for Your guidance in our needs throughout our lives. Because of Your might, the evil one endeavoring to keep us from You will flee instead. We shall say, “Get behind me satan, in the name of Jesus my Savior, for He is the strength and purpose of my life.” And, it is also in His name we pray. Amen!

Amen! Not only can we approach Him with anything, but He will forgive everything! And so we ought to forgive ourselves as well. Sometimes hard to do, but with God's help, nothing is impossible! Thanks Karen!
