Good Morning,
The theme today compares the work of a bird as he builds his nest. He is very directed and careful to build a strong nest. We need to apply the same kind of effort to build a strong foundation for ourselves with Jesus. Sandy wrote, "It is the Lord in which we lean on and cling to no matter what comes our way. Jesus completed that foundation at the work of the cross and that will never change. I have chosen to build my life on the cornerstone, my sure foundation on which I will stand...all my days!"

"A SURE FOUNDATION"

He will be the sure foundation for your times,
a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;
the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
Isaiah 33:6
As I was strolling along on my daily walk today I noticed a robin busily gathering sticks and grass. Undoubtedly he was in the midst of building a home for his family. They carefully weave their nest together until it is firm and solid to raise him and Mrs. Robin's family in.
I thought about the strategy and time it went into building that nest. It doesn't just happen in a short amount of time. The robin has to make multiple trips until the nest is finally complete and secure.
Our relationship becomes stronger and stronger as we mature in the Lord and as we trust Him. It takes multiple times with Him and fellowshipping with others of like-mindedness before there is that solid, secure, and confident, foundation in Him.

Keep on building your foundation stronger
and stronger every day you walk through
your days in this life.
your days in this life.
