We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Tuesday Writing..."No Longer A Slave To Fear"...5/8/

Good morning,

The Lord created His daughters with a built-in assurance that we need not be slaves...no longer need to be tormented with fear. All we have to remember is to send the enemy away by who we are. The enemy keeps pretending he did not get the memo. We must stand up on that promise and claim it. Sandy wrote, "We are no longer slaves to fear for it has been drowned in His perfect love! Allow His perfect love to soak and saturate you all your days and bask in His peace as a Child of the King."

We can and will bask
In His Perfect Love and Strength,
Sandy & Corinne

"No Longer A Slave To Fear"
by
Sandy Billingham

My Husband and I rode on a Segway for our birthdays last week. We had an exciting time riding on them on the tour all around our city in the downtown area. It is a fabulous way to get around town as far as transportation!

When starting out on the tour with the group, the tour guide always covers the instructions well and makes sure each person is able to maneuver the Segway. After we all practice then off we go on our tour.

As we started out, there is a rather steep hill we have to ride down. We all single-filed down the hill and all was well until one gal halfway down the hill started screaming and got off of her Segway. One of the other guides grabbed it quickly and made sure she was safe.

She had decided that this tour was not for her and she right then and there was not going to continue with the group. Fear had overtaken her and she was having no part of riding a Segway! She was with several others and they all went ahead while she chose to stay behind.

We have all experienced fear of some sort and it can be quite frightening and overwhelming! One thing is for sure and that we are certain of is that fear is not of God

There is a Christian song that we often sing called "No Longer Slaves"  One part of the lyrics is, "I am no longer a slave to fear...For I am a Child of God" and another part of the song says: "You split the sea so I could walk right through it. My fears were drowned in perfect love."

Our Lord sets us free and delivers us from fear as we cry out for Him to do so. Fear is a snare and robs us of our peace. His Word tells us...

"There is no fear in love,
but perfect love casts out fear..."
1 John 4:18

As Christ floods us with His perfect love, all fear is removed. He completely casts it out of us! We are His children, and His power and presence is within us. We have that right to live free of all fear!

When fear tries to come on you at any given time; declare out loud (as many times as needed) "His perfect love casts out all fear," and that fear will have to go! God's Word is powerful and His Word works and does exactly what God says it will do.

We are no longer slaves to fear for it has been drowned in His perfect love! Allow His perfect love to soak and saturate you all your days and bask in His peace as a Child of the King.

No longer in chains. Jesus has blessed us with freedom
from fear! We are the daughters of the living God
who created us to be fearless and not slaves of fear.
Thank you, God, Please remind us who we are when fear
comes knocking!
The enemy
has to flee when we pass that reminder on to him.
