Good Morning,
Today's writing, "Let Me Help You" is about the need for people to give and receive kindness from each other. The author wrote, "God then works through us because of our belief in Jesus. People can see our faith, not simply hear about it. They realize we aren't just paying lip service to our Lord, but that we love Him, live for Him, and do the best we can to live as He taught."
We should be kind to others as God has been kind to us.
God bless,
Karen and Corinne

God then works through us because of our belief in Jesus. People can see our faith, not simply hear about it. They realize we aren't just paying lip service to our Lord, but that we love Him, live for Him, and do the best we can to live as He taught. We are God's new creation and fitted to do the good works He planned for us. We do them all to His great glory, committing ourselves to Him and all He has prepared for us to do. We are set aside for God's use. He's done more than give us life. He has gifted us with faith that enables us to do His calling.

"Let Me Help You"
As Christians we should show our faith in loving deeds for people. It shouldn't be for just our families or best friends, although they should definitely be on the receiving end of our kindnesses as well.
We know full well that we are not able to assist in our salvation with anything we do. It was purchased for us by our loving Savior, Jesus Christ, with His death on the cross and His resurrection. He is the only one ever capable of doing it, as He was the Lamb without blemish, the only sinless one. Perfect! For us to make it to heaven on our own, we'd have to be perfect, even as our Father in heaven is perfect. Obviously, as sinners, that is an impossibility, but does this mean we shouldn't do good works? Our lives are supposed to be lived as closely as possible to the way Jesus lived His on this earth.
As Christians we don't do good works in order to be saved. We do them because we have been saved. We live our faith. We can't profess to believe in Jesus and want to be like Him if we don't follow His teachings and examples in helping others.
"For we are God's workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Ephesians 2:10
God then works through us because of our belief in Jesus. People can see our faith, not simply hear about it. They realize we aren't just paying lip service to our Lord, but that we love Him, live for Him, and do the best we can to live as He taught. We are God's new creation and fitted to do the good works He planned for us. We do them all to His great glory, committing ourselves to Him and all He has prepared for us to do. We are set aside for God's use. He's done more than give us life. He has gifted us with faith that enables us to do His calling.
Our good deeds demonstrate God's grace and His love.
"As the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without deeds is dead."
James 2:26
Let's show all we can that God's love and grace are in us and never forget His good works prepared for us. We've been remade in Jesus to glorify our Father, and give Him the praise. Others can learn from us what the Christian life is. We can demonstrate our unity and share all that God has done and continues to do for us. May people see the joy of true faith in Christ, the comfort and peace in our hearts from His promises, and the indwelling Spirit strengthening us.
Dear Father we can never thank you enough for sacrificing Your only Son to save us and for Your Holy Spirit filling our hearts with faith. Please help us to demonstrate Your love and grace in our lives that people may see all You do for Your children. Help us to share Your love and to do the good works You have prepared for us to Your great glory. Use us Father! Let us be Your instruments.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
