Good morning

Brother Thomas and Jody Ward have written "RECIPE FOR SUCCESS IN LEADERSHIP" based on the scripture 2 Samuel 23:3 which gives directions of how to conduct their behavior as leaders. Here is a quote from this writing, "We all have people in our lives that we lead - in our church, in our jobs, in our families and with our friends. May the Lord grant us the wisdom to be true leaders who revere God, not just rulers who exercise power."

We should think about the characteristics of good leadership and devise a way to practice them.

"RECIPE FOR SUCCESS IN LEADERSHIP"

The God of Israel, our Mighty Rock, spoke to me. The God of Jacob, the protector of Israel, said to me “He who rules over men must rule righteously and rules in the fear of God. He must be a ruler who obeys God and does right, who governs well with justice and fairness. He must be one who leads the people in the fear and reverence of God.

2 Samuel 23:3

When you abuse the right of people under you, you empower them to live lives without you. When you exert power and control, you enable them to run without you and flee your influence.

You must beware of how you treat people you were called to lead because when injustice becomes the law, then resistance to your leadership becomes their duty.

We all have people in our lives that we lead - in our church, in our jobs, in our families and with our friends. May the Lord grant us the wisdom to be true leaders who revere God, not just rulers who exercise power.
