Good morning,
"We Are Healed!" is the title of Karen Bennett's writing today. Her theme is how in the anguish and suffering of people in this world God has sent His Son as the Prince of Peace. Karen wrote, "We, who are incapable of healing ourselves, have been healed by the blood of the Lamb. There is no guesswork involved. It is finished - done - complete and irreversible. He took the sin of the world upon Himself and died in our place."
We are all aware of the mercy and love of this miracle, but we need to contemplate it every day to fully see the wonder and goodness of God's plan and gift.
God bless

"We Are Healed!"
"We Are Healed!"
At times we're overcome with the sad news we find ourselves in the midst of! A friend, a loved one, ourselves --- no one is exempt. Perhaps it's emotional anguish or possibly physical.
In the physical realm it can be an illness with no definite or overly successful cure, a disease with a dreaded name. We go about having treatments of one kind or another, but no guarantee of success! Pain wracks the body as it fails and the suffering becomes ever more acute. Other times there seems to be a miraculous healing, yet more often than not it's only a temporary fix, a brief respite before a recurrence.
All these diseases and maladies are the result of man's disobedience. When sin entered the world in the Garden of Eden, perfection was lost. Hatred, dishonesty, disease, war and all the rest came into being with the gleeful assistance of Satan.
These things are incurable for us on our own, but God the Father, in His love and mercy, had the cure all along, His only Son. We, who are incapable of healing ourselves, have been healed by the blood of the Lamb. There is no guesswork involved. It is finished - done - complete and irreversible. He took the sin of the world upon Himself and died in our place. He rose from the dead. All we need do is believe in Him!
As we wait for the results of medications or treatments for our physical ailments, wondering if they were effective or not and hoping beyond hope that they were, we are never certain of the outcome till the final word is in.
The beauty of our salvation is its certain. The treatment and cure for the sin of the world is Christ's death and resurrection and it is definite! We are healed! Believe and be saved!
"Surely He took up
our infirmities and carried our sorrow,
yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted.
But He was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and
by His wounds we are healed."
by His wounds we are healed."
Isaiah 53:4-5
We need not wonder nor worry. The Word is explicit. Salvation is ours and Heaven is our home. Christ took your place to give you heaven! It is yours for believing! We are healed!
Dear Father,
Thank You for sending Your Son to save us and heal us of our otherwise incurable sin. Help us be bold enough to share this fabulous news with everyone we can! Your love and mercy we will cherish for all eternity, singing Your praises in Paradise!
Amen.
