Wednesday Writing........10/19/16

Good Morning...

Today the devotional is written by Sandy Billingham and is titled, "Outpourings of His Goodness and Abundance." Sandy found a scripture verse that really spoke to her heart. She goes on to discuss how generous and good God is in giving His people special gifts. In gratitude for all of His blessings, Sandy wrote, "I choose to lay hold of all of God's goodness and abundance all my days and to allow that to spill over on every person I meet!!" 

Have a good Wednesday; it is "Hump Day," which means that you are half way to the weekend.

                                                     Wednesday Devotional

                                   "Outpourings of His Goodness and Abundance"  

Have you ever been reading God's Word  and a certain scripture just completely causes you to come undone with gratefulness!

That recently happened to me...a verse in Psalm 65...

"You crown the year with your goodness 

and  your paths drip with abundance."Psalm 65:11

God crowns His people with overwhelming goodness. He gives us daily doses overflowing through-out  our days. He crowns the earth with great goodness as well. There is His magnificent beauty all around us.

And truly His paths drip with abundance. He blesses us with the changes  of the seasons and all that entails. The wonders of His creation is all around us. He never ceases to bless us with warmth of the sun and the moon at night. Because of who we are in Christ, He desires to give us His fullness and reveal His greatness to us! 

We are overwhelmingly rich in the Lord. His goodness and abundance has no end. And to think we are the recipients of His glory forever!!

I choose to lay hold of all of God's goodness and abundance all my days and to allow that to spill over on every person I meet!!
