Good morning...
I thought it was Wednesday all day today. There is no big news or big deal about that. When you are retired all the days seem to run together. That might not be a bad thing if the day seemed to be a wash. However, no day is a wash. Every day has God in it. In every day there are many amazing things from God. We just have to be in tune with God's presence and His miracles in our life.
May you have a miracle filled wondrous Wednesday.

The Devotional component of Wednesday Writings in Women's Focus Ministries was written by Sandy Billingham. Sandy's writing is titled,"Fervent Love For One Another" In this writing Sandy says, "As we walk in His Spirit and in His love, we will not be dwelling on people's sins, but how God has fearfully and wonderfully made that person. His love will intensely flow out of us onto the people. Our hearts will be prepared to love with outstretched arms, just as Jesus loves."

It won't matter what that person has done in their past or presently doing. What will matter is that Christ has called us to fervently love others,(bottom line). As they experience His love through us, I believe many will be drawn closer to Jesus.
Put God's love into action on a daily basis and then stand back and watch God's mighty hand gloriously at work in His people!!

"Fervent Love For One Another"

Unfortunately it is sometimes much easier to see the flaws in others, rather than concentrate on the strengths and giftings that they have been blessed with. The Lord would desire us to focus on the greatness that He has placed within His creation and to reach out and love those that He puts before us.
His Word tells us in 1 Peter 4:8
"And above all things
have fervent love for one another,
have fervent love for one another,
for love will cover a multitude of sins."
Other words describing fervent are heartfelt, sincere and intense. Just as the Lord lavishes His love upon us, He would ask us to do the same to others richly and fervently!
As we walk in His Spirit and in His love, we will not be dwelling on people's sins, but how God has fearfully and wonderfully made that person. His love will intensely flow out of us onto the people. Our hearts will be prepared to love with outstretched arms, just as Jesus loves.

A Parent is a Child's best Teacher
A father and son went fishing one day. After a couple hours in the boat, the boy suddenly became curious about the world around him.
He asked his father, "How does this boat float?"
The father thought for a moment, then replied, "Don't rightly know, son."
The boy returned to his contemplation, then turned back to his father, "How do fish breathe underwater?"
Once again the father replied, "Don't rightly know, son."
A little later the boy asked his father, "Why is the sky blue?"
Again, the father replied. "Don't rightly know, son."
Worried he was going to annoy his father, he says, "Dad, do you mind my asking you all of these questions?"
"Of course not, son. If you don't ask questions, you'll never learn anything!"
