Good Morning,
Today's Devotional
"Privileged of God"
Corinne Mustafa is the author of today's writing called, "Privileged of God." She began by lauding the creative power of God who made the celestial magnificence found in the night time sky. Then she wrote about God's creative expertise when He created His people...a kind of magnum opus. In its own way the systems that comprised a human being are as perfect and diversified as the lights and gasses that shine in the night sky. Both required specialized abilities that cannot be imagined or copied. Corinne wrote, "It is so eye opening that the One who created us in all our complexities was at work in all areas of the Universe. Still He holds our creation to be just below the angels. He loves us in ways that we do not deserve. From the beginning of the Old Testament He was working on a plan to make us righteous and worthy of being in heaven."
That is how much He loves us!
God bless
Corinne

"Privileged of God"
I love the wonders of the nighttime sky. As a child I thrilled to see the big and little dippers and the man in the moon. That was the limit of my stargazing. Some of the more splendid sights...the Hubble photos I have only seen from this amazing telescope recordings we have to document them. Even a picture can move a person to tears. (The picture at the left is of one that is called the Eye of God Nebula.) The thing that blows me away is that God created all this beauty and amazing power just because He could and He wanted to. People had no idea until April, 1990 when the Hubble first was first launched.
There are so many amazing discoveries in all areas of science that we are now learning about. Who knew? It is so eye opening that the One who created us in all our complexities was at work in all areas of the Universe. Still He holds our creation to be just below the angels. He loves us in ways that we do not deserve. From the beginning of the Old Testament He was working on a plan to make us righteous and worthy of being in heaven. This scripture in Romans is what He believes about us and what he planned for us. In His divine plan He gave His son, Jesus, to die and then place His righteousness in us.
You ARE a child of God! God never created junk, so the next time you are tempted to dis yourself remember Who created you and who you are to Him. You have been forgiven of every mistake or bad choice you have ever made in your past, in the present, or will make in the future. We truly are the "privileged of God" for eternity.
