We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Wednesday Writing...6/3/20... "Step Into A New Day"

Good Morning,

The theme of today's writing is that every new day is a gift to be used (or not used) by all people. How the day is used results in progress and learning for each person...or lack thereof. Here is a quote from this writing, "When we look at the trials we are facing they are of course daunting, However, we need to factor God into the equation and believe He has plans for our good. These tribulations will not be forever..."

Let's wait for God to act for our benefit. You know He will.

Pray  for our country in this time of disputes,
Corinne Mustafa

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14

Every morning dawn announces the start of a new day. The sky lightens and the beauty of another gift of a day from the Lord begins to appear. Most of us are not out and about as the sun rises over the eastern hills. We are really missing something, and it would be a wise idea to rise early enough from time to to time to see it. The painting that God works to  prepare for us is beyond beautiful in early mornings.

In the recent months of two pandemics...one a virus and one angry demonstrations by people who are rightfully upset about the horrendous death of George Floyd by an Minneapolis policeman. These are all things that bring angst and fear to our population who are going through the impossible challenges that they have to face. However, as members of the human race life is filled with confrontations that result in disputes and contests that we all have to face. Life is like a mountain of crags and rocks that we need fight and climb to reach the top. For a while we are on the top of said mountain and then the tasks and tests start drawing us down the hill to start over. That's the ups and downs of life.

In spite of the challenges of living, life is still an amazing gift. Every morning is a new beginning. It comes to us filled with expectation and potentialities. The way we use our twenty-four hours dictates how much success we receive at the end of the day.
Lord,
Be gracious to us; we long for you.
Be our strength every morning,
our salvation in time of distress.
Isaiah 33:2

When we look at the trials we are facing they are of course daunting, However, we need to factor God into the equation and believe He has plans for our good. These tribulations will not be forever, they will come to an end in God's good timing.

Father, we thank you for the roads that  you set out before us. Walking these paths, both good and not so good, builds strength and knowledge that helps us become better people. I am rejoicing that I am your child. Amen.
