Good Morning,
The writing for today is concerning the temptations that Satan uses us to weaken us and destroy us. He still is laboring under the misconception that He can achieve his goals to ruin us and to succeed in his war against God. Here is a quote from this writing, "Many people also claim that God is the villain who is tempting us in His tests. This is falsehood. Our Father in heaven does not tempt us. In fact He comes alongside to help us get what we need to make us successful in our fight against temptation."
We must never harbor the belief that God is tempting us as some kind of test!
Be strong and you will be blessed,

"TEMPTATION"
"TEMPTATION"

Have you ever found yourself walking down a path of the desire and greed of temptation, and you are partially unwilling to let it go. There are a myriad of things that could provide temptation for a person that, when allowed to reside in a weak or greedy mind that leads them to accept the temptation he or she has been dancing around
There is good news. Jesus, a human, overcame Satan's temptation...a human showing humans how this battle can be achieved. For forty days and nights Satan was on His case trying to get Him to succumb and by so doing rejecting God, His father. We all know that Jesus rebuked the enemy roundly and sent him packing. Then He got on with the mission that He came to earth to perform.
Many people also claim that God is the villain who is tempting us in His tests. This is falsehood. Our Father in heaven does not tempt us. In fact He comes alongside to help us get what we need to make us successful in our fight against temptation. For us there is help offered in the Bible to show the reality of the fight and how to wage the war.
Romans 6:1-14 gives us the reassurance that tells us that we are no different than our fellow humans, and when tempted there is a way out if we only will learn it and accept it. It tells us that all people face the common temptations and how we can deal with it.
1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that we face what many people face, but God will not allow the temptation to be more than we can handle.
Matthew 26;41 asks us to pray that we do not fall. It also reminds us that the spirit is willing but our flesh is weak. This lets us have some hints of how to avoid failure when tempted.
So, it is true that we face temptation in our lives. Still we do know right from wrong, and our loving Father is our greatest support in dealing with this. We can overcome.!
