Good Morning,

The theme of today's writing is that God will never separate from us, and we can count on that. What an amazing gift and blessing. This is something we do not experience with our friends in our day to day lives... (no matter how much we love each other.) Here is a quote from this writing, "God has called all of us to be His beloved, and we solidified that invitation by asking Him to come into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. Once that is done nothing can separate us from God."
How wondrous this truth is!!

"No Separation"
"No Separation"

For I am convinced
that nothing can ever separate us from His love.
Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all
the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away.
Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are—high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean
…nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us.Romans 8:38-39

Life is full of change and the coming and goings of people, places and seasons. Most lives give witness to this fact. Think about your life as I use mine to illustrate. I was born in Massachusetts and lived in Rhode Island until it was time to go to college. Then it was off to New Haven,Connecticut to attend college and after college I taught there for five year...so that was nine years total.
I married and our lives took us to four different places after that...never any longer than three to four years. My first child was born in Tennessee. We were in Maryland for four years. Then, in 1977, the three of us climbed into our little green Datsun station wagon and moved across country to California. This turned out to be the first time we stayed anywhere longer than four years...until then. We are still in California. I will do the math; it has been 43 years.
Friends all over the place were the blessings that God gave us as we followed the path He had put us on. Even today we are in touch with these friends although we hardly ever see them. They will be forever friends at a distance.
God has called all of us to be His beloved, and we solidified His invitation by asking Him to come into our hearts as our Lord and Savior. Once that is done NOTHING can separate us from God.
Heavenly Father,
We thank you that you are not fickle, capitulating to whim according to what you know about us. You love us forever no matter what failures we commit and then repent to you. I have heard that you banish memories of us away to the sea of forgetfulness. Thank you for inspiring me to do the things that I do because I love you and desire to show you that I do. I look forward to spending the rest of my life in this manner and then my eternity with you.
