June Writing of the Month |
Good morning.
Today's writing is by Cathy Friberg who writes at the beginning of every month. It is called, "God's Masterpiece" The theme of this writing is that, as created by God, we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that God made us to perform a purpose that He had planned for us. Cathy wrote, "As we pray and seek God's will, He will lead us to those deeds that are tailor made for us. We will perform them in His perfect timing. Its important to follow God's leading so that our efforts will bear fruit."
Hope you enjoy this writing...I really did! It is an excellent coverage of the fact that we are fearfully and wonderfully made...truly His masterpiece.
Blessings from
Cathy Friberg

Have you ever felt less than or unworthy? In our society the media portrays women who are physically beautiful and mentally and emotionally superior. This can cause us to feel that we don't measure up to worldly standards. The enemy of our souls can certainly plague us with a negative self image. Such mindsets can lead to depression and lack of motivation to give our all in our daily lives. It can hinder us from reaching out to help others. We may fear that our efforts will be subpar or even rejected by the recipients of our endeavors. However, negative perceptions of ourselves are rooted in deception. If we look at what God's Word says about us we will certainly come to a brighter conclusion.
"You made all the delicate inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother's womb
and knit me together in my mother's womb
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workman ship is marvelous--how well I know it."
Your workman ship is marvelous--how well I know it."
Psalm 139:13-14
How precious we all are to the Father's Heart!
Every single person has infinite worth. That includes us. We can carry out the plans God has intended for us to pursue. As we help those around us, in whatever capacity, we destroy the works of the enemy in their lives. We can help alleviate or eradicate poverty, sickness and loneliness as we carry out the design God has for us. We need not fear that our attempts are not good enough. We will do our work heartily as unto the Lord and not unto men. The word says...
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not human master.
as working for the Lord, not human master.
Colossians 3:23
The results are in God's hands.
As we pray and seek God's will, He will lead us to those deeds that are tailor made for us. We will perform them in His perfect timing. Its important to follow God's leading so that our efforts will bear fruit. The Lord spoke to me once that...
"We will reap rewards from those acts
that we truly enjoy doing out of a heart of love."
that we truly enjoy doing out of a heart of love."
God's will ultimately brings us joy.
Father in Heaven, as your children, let us never forget what treasures we are to you. Let us know that we have immeasurable value in your sight. May we always treat others and ourselves with the love and respect that you have for us. May we carry out the good works you have ordained for us with great pleasure and delight. And may all of our endeavors bring you bring you much glory and honor, in Jesus name. Amen.
