Women's Focus Ministries

We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Monday Writing...4/27/20..."Door of Hope"

Good Morning,

The writing today is called "Door of Hope," and the topic is that God leads us to a place of solitude and speaks to us about hope and helps  us find it. The author wrote. "There are times God leads us into the wilderness to speak tenderly to us, and then after we have heard His voice in this place, to restore and to redeem our lives. Then we will end up singing with joy."

How wonderful it is to be in the wilderness with God.

Be blessed by your time with Him.

Monday Devotional
"Door of Hope"

“Therefore I am now going to allure her;
I will lead her into the wilderness
and speak tenderly to her.Hosea 2:14

The wilderness is not a place of punishment but a place of privacy, and  in that private place God will speak tenderly to us. He says He will give back our vineyards, (representing something we have lost).

He will make the Valley of Achor (meaning trouble) be A DOOR OF HOPE God redeems situations. There you will sing (respond) as in the days of your youth, as in the day you came up "out of Egypt." In that day, declares the Lord, you will call me ‘my husband’; you will no longer call me ‘my master’.

What does this say? It can be said to us as well. God is leading us when we have a need. It will be as into the desert, a solitary place. It is a place we don’t understand, and in this strange place He is going to speak to us. In this hard place we will hear Him; He will be near to us and provide for us. This will be a place of privacy for Him and whoever He takes there.

He says this place of trouble will be redeemed and become a place where we begin to have new hope. It is in this desert wilderness WE WILL GAIN HOPE, this does not compute!

I should have blessings in easy situations, where the goodness and honey flows, but not here in the desert.

There are times God leads us into the wilderness to speak tenderly to us, and then after we have heard His voice in this place, to restore and to redeem our lives. Then we will end up singing with joy.

He begins to talk and responds with the Lords voice, as when we first knew Him. Have you ever experienced this first love’s joy after coming though to the other side of something hard? What do you take out of it?

The Lord says it is here that you begin to call Me "my husband" and no longer call me my master. He is our husbandman, our covering, our provider, our healer, our protector, and the lover of our souls.

Ah, my friends be blessed today for the One who understands all things is walking with you…

"...Weeping may endure for a night
but joy comes in the morning"
Psalm 30:5b
