Good morning,
The topic of today's writing is that God gives everyone unique gifts that we can use toward the common good of the people in our lives and of the world in which we live. It is our calling to also develop them further and in order to be the best person that God created us to be. It is important to note that what God is asking us to do might be something we never dreamed of doing. We need to think about what He may be asking of us and work to be worthy of that calling. Kathy wrote. "Too many of us think "I’m not special. I’m not smart. I can’t serve the Lord.” But the Bible says “Yes you can! We have different gifts, according to the grace given us." God blesses each of us differently so that each one of us can play a special role in His kingdom."
On a personal note, I never dreamed that I would be called to this ministry, but it means the world to me!
What is your calling as shown by your gifts. Today I hope you think about this.
Blessings from
Kathy Bireley

"Use Your Unique Talents"
Written by
Kathy Bireley
The truth is that EVERY Christian has something they can do to glorify God! Everyone has a talent that they can use! How do I know that? Because the Word says that
“TO EACH ONE,
the manifestation of the Spirit
is given for the common good.”
1 Corinthians 12:7
“We might not be here much longer.
We’re living in the last days.
So while we’re waiting f
or Jesus to come back,
or Jesus to come back,
be clear minded and
self-controlled so that you can pray.
Above all else,
love one another deeply.
Show hospitality!
Be there for each other!”
1 Peter 4:7
Then beginning in verse ten, he says...
“As long as we’re still here on this earth, keep on using your gifts.
“Who should be doing this? EVERYONE! EACH ONE
should use whatever gift he has to serve others.”
should use whatever gift he has to serve others.”
1 Peter 4:10
Everyone who believes in Christ has something they can do to make people’s lives a little bit better.Too many of us think "I’m not special. I’m not smart. I can’t serve the Lord.” But the Bible says “Yes you can! We have different gifts, according to the grace given us." God blesses each of us differently so that each one of us can play a special role in His kingdom. God wants us to do the stuff that we’re good at to bring glory to Him.
- “If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.
- "If it is serving, let him serve;
- "If it is teaching, let him teach;
- "If it is encouraging, let him encourage;
- "If it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously;
- "If it is leadership, let him govern diligently;
- "If it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.”
“You my brothers, were called to be free.
But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature,
rather, serve one another in love.”
Galatians 5:13 says
“If anyone speaks, he should
do it as one speaking
do it as one speaking
the very words of God.
If anyone serves,
If anyone serves,
he should do it with the
strength God provides,
strength God provides,
so that in all things
God may be praised
through Jesus Christ.”
God may be praised
through Jesus Christ.”
For everyone who has will be given more,
and he will have an abundance.
Whoever does not have,
even what he has will be taken from him.
Matthew 25:29
