Saturday Writing...3/14/20..."MIRACLES"

Good morning,

The title of today's writing is "MIRACLES", and it was written by Carol Steficek. She talks about the wonders of miracles of creation and what God in His all knowing has built into what He has created. Carol writes, "God still is the God of wonders.  His love for us never changes and He is active in our daily lives providing for all we need and beyond."

This would be a good day for you to remember some of the miracles you have received from in the past and thank Him for them.

Today's Devotional 

"MIRACLES"

"He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, 

miracles that cannot be counted." 

Job 9:10    

I am convinced that the only people who do not believe in miracles are those who are so unobservant that they fail to see the world they live in and what is happening in their daily lives.

Our world is one big miracle of the creative work of an all powerful God.  Isn't it amazing that all creatures, including humans, are formed from the union of a male sperm and a female ovary?  Isn't it a miracle that with all of the things that can change with DNA a healthy human being is ever born at all.     

     

The tiny hummingbird has the same bodily functioning as the elephant -- DNA within the genetic make-up, blood flowing through veins, air flowing in and out of lungs, and so forth.

     

Look at the flowers of the field, the variety of plants and fruits we eat, the sunshine and rain to provide growth

Besides this, God often reaches down into our lives and performs miracles.  I had a miracle prayer dog right after my mother died.  My vet said Nickolas should have died.  He couldn't explain why he survived with no medical treatment as he didn't even know what caused his condition.  I know, God knew I needed him yet.

Many of you can attest to miraculous healings.  Others can attest to miracles of safety and rescue.  Others tell of God's miraculous provision beyond the expected in other ways.

God still is the God of wonders.  His love for us never changes and He is active in our daily lives providing for all we need and beyond.
