Good Morning,
The topic of today's writing is "DISCIPLINE," but it does not refer to punitive discipline. Rather it refers to the discipline that keeps people self controlled and dedicated to their dream and God's leading. Carol wrote, "God has give us everything to enjoy in life and wants us to truly enjoy it. He also expects us not to abuse our bodies or pollute our minds with things which are not beneficial. He has given us free will to make choices. Do not let anything be your master. Discipline yourself to a healthful life.
It could be time to build a habit of discipline into your life.
Have a blessed weekend,
Carol Steficek

"Everything is permissible for me--
but not everything is beneficial.
but not everything is beneficial.
Everything is permissible for me--
but I will not be mastered by anything."
but I will not be mastered by anything."
I Corinthians 6:12
If you would follow an Olympic athlete around for about a week you would see the picture of discipline. Athletes who win medals do not accomplish this feat by luck. It take massive amounts of hard work and self-discipline.
Sure, they could live like the rest of the self-indulgent population. But to win the prize the athlete has to look at only what will be beneficial to accomplishing the goal. Work for the prize.
Have simple things become the master of your life? Where's your willpower? Where is your self-discipline? God has give us everything to enjoy in life and wants us to truly enjoy it. He also expects us not to abuse our bodies or pollute our minds with things which are not beneficial.
He has given us free will to make choices.
Do not let anything be your master.
Discipline yourself to a healthful life.
