Saturday Writing...2/29/20..."Courage"

Good Morning,

Today's writing is about having courage. That is a very important characteristic to base on the encouragement that God builds into all of His children. Carol wrote, "The Christian is promised victory in the end.  Those who take the Lord's hand in their walk through life find the courage to live."

Hold onto the Lord's Hand throughout your life and the courage you need will be yours.

 "Courage"

"Be strong and take heart, 

all you who hope in the Lord." 

           Psalm 31:24

Generally when a person thinks of being courageous we think of soldiers or policemen or firemen.  These are people who literally put their lives on the line every day. However, God expects each of us to be strong and have courage as we live our lives.  

I recently heard statistics saying the suicide rate is rising in the United States.  People are finding it takes courage to live in these days of turmoil and since many don't know where to turn, they would rather end it all.  

Those who "hope" in the Lord are the ones who find the courage to face the challenges of life no matter what comes their way -- be it illnesses, disasters, loss of finances, death of a loved one or whatever.  They know the Lord will get them "through" everything they face.  

The Christian is not promised a life of ease.  The Christian is promised victory in the end.  Those who take the Lord's hand in their walk through life find the courage to live.
