Tuesday Writing...1/14/20..."His Promises Are Yes And Amen"

Good Morning,

This was published last Tuesday. However my computer had issues that have now been resolved. I believe that most readers never got to read this so I am posting it again.

Today we see some of the beauty of our universe that God shares with us daily. He also makes promises that He will always keep in His will and timing.  Sandy wrote, "Our God is not skimpy to us but extremely generous on all sides. He wants to pour out His Blessings and Promises upon His people."

We have assurance that God makes promises to His people and He keeps them.

"His Promises Are Yes And Amen"

As my husband and I were driving home from an outing today we saw the most magnificent sunset that I have ever seen. It was glorious in every way. What was so unusual about it was that it had double rings of rainbows around it and the sun itself looked like radiant sunbursts exploding out of it. I couldn't stop gazing at it on the way home.

I sensed that the Lord was reminding me about the promises in His Word that He has given each one of us. He tells us.... 

 "For all the promises of God 
in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, 
to the glory of God through us.
2 Corinthians 1:20

God is not a God that goes back on His promises but He shall fulfill each and every one of them that He has given us. Not only that, but He will complete every work that He has begun in each of us.

There may be many times that we may get discouraged and wonder if the Lord has heard our prayers or maybe overlooked our needs. You can be assured the Lord has heard and He shall answer in due time. He will never pass you by or fail you at any point.

Our God wants to see us each succeed and walk in abundance with Him. We as His people must keep our eyes fixed on Him and Him alone. As we cling to Him He will bring forth the very thing that we are in need of in His perfect timing. He only asks that we trust in Him and not in man. Man has nothing to offer but God has everything to offer as He reminds in His Word.

The sunset that I experienced today, as I shared earlier, was double rainbows. He desires to bless us in double portions. Our God is not skimpy to us but extremely generous on all sides. He wants to pour out His Blessings and Promises upon His people. That is the kind of God we serve. Every gift comes from the Father of Lights.

As I gazed upon the Sunset today... 
I shall never forget that all the promises of God
in Him are Yes and in Him Amen!! 
All Glory to God our Father forever and ever!
