Good morning
There are so many aspects to the word "grace" We receive it from the Lord as a freely given gift...not something we have to earn. Sometimes we also give grace to someone who has hurt us when we forgive that person. To do so is a blessed thing. Carol wrote, "So the person living under God's grace by faith in Jesus' sacrifice for us, finds mercy and grace instead of condemnation, joy instead of despair, help instead of criticism, success instead of failure, power instead of weakness, and life instead of death."
What an undeserved blessing we receive from our loving Abba Father!
Filled with gratitude,

"GRACE"
Written by

"Let us therefore draw
near with confidence
to the throne of grace,
that we may receive mercy
that we may receive mercy
and
may find grace to help
in time of need."
in time of need."
Hebrews 4:16
I am not sure that people today, even many Christians, really recognize and appreciate what "grace" is. Restoration and forgiving one another is not a recognized virtue in today's society. We hear much more about retribution, revenge, and looking out for number one -- ourselves.
So what is grace? No matter what our past mistakes or failures, no matter what problems our rebellion has caused -- God is willing to give us His unmerited favor if we turn to Him in repentance of our sins with faith.
Jesus made us one with the Father by going to the cross for our sins. So
the person living under God's grace by faith in Jesus' sacrifice for us, finds
mercy and grace instead of condemnation, joy instead of despair, help instead of
criticism, success instead of failure, power instead of weakness, and life
instead of death. God's supply of grace in Jesus Christ is unlimited both
for this life and the next.
