Wednesday Writing...11/20/19..."Always Give Thanks"

Good Morning

We have so much for which to thank God...to be grateful for. He has given us life and sent His Son to make it possible to for us to spend eternity with Him in heaven. That is the biggest gift and blessing of all. Here is a quote from this writing, "...(it is) a good thing to pray and consider all that God has given you and build a thankfulness list. Having these things in mind and heart will gift you with a richer day. The best blessing of all was the granting to those who love and follow Him is eternity in heaven.

"Always Give Thanks"

As the year 2019 races to a close, we are getting ready for one of the most enjoyable celebrations of the year. I am thinking about Thanksgiving. Things are more lay back then than the bustle of Christmas.I agree that Christmas trumps Thanksgiving due to the magnificent event that it celebrates. However, the fellowship and friendship of Thanksgiving is something special as well.

In addition to the closeness that people share with their family and friends during the  Thanksgiving holiday is the fact that we are reminded to be thankful for our blessings which are many. Now do not get the wrong impression. I am painfully aware of the fact that there is a wide range of inequality between people, and some have much more to be thankful for than others.






Still material things are not what we should base our thankfulness on. There is much more to celebrate and for which to be grateful. The love of families and friends bless our lives in so many ways. The country in which we live is an important reason to thank God. If we could see the wonder of this country and our fellow Americans in the light of what goes on in other places in our world we would be horrified.

The Bible gives a great list of things that we have from God, and we have them even when life hurts. This inventory shows where to find supporting scriptures.



It is now nine days until the big day. It would be a good thing to pray and consider all that God has given you and build a thankfulness list. Having these things in mind and heart will gift you with a richer day. The best blessing of all was the granting to those who love and follow Him is eternity in heaven.
