Good Morning.
This devotional laments the lack of enthusiasm that so many people walk around without caring about our beliefs that we do have but often ignore. Carol wrote, "Once filled with the power of the Holy Spirit they preached boldly and traveled everywhere spreading the gospel message. On one day 3000 people were converted."
What is happening now and where do you stand?
Prayers for your blessings,

"LIVING RELIGION"
Written by
Carol Steficek
"When the day of
Pentecost came,
they were all together in one place...
All of them were filled
with the Holy Spirit."
Acts 1:1, 4a
I am convinced if the
Christian Church was doing what it should be today (meaning each of us
believers who are the Body of Christ) that people would be breaking down the
doors of our churches to get in. Look what happened to the church after
Pentecost.
Before the resurrection of Jesus and before Pentecost the
disciples were fearful and hiding behind closed doors. Once filled with
the power of the Holy Spirit they preached boldly and traveled everywhere
spreading the gospel message. On one day 3000 people were
converted. The disciples healed the sick and cast out demons and even
raised the dead.
All of the disciples except John were martyred for their
faith in Jesus. That's assurance that your message is the truth!
Since Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, the Church should
be experiencing the same growth with believers who are filled with the Holy
Spirit and alive with a vital message to proclaim to the world!
Where are
you in this picture?
Pray to be filled anew with the power of the Holy Spirit
and proclaim a living religion to a dying world!
