Good Morning,
The theme of this writing is the question of are we strong enough. We are faced with many fears and temptations. Sometimes we feel powerless, and we can loose sight of the fact that God is near and willing to help us. Karen wrote, "Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. He is on our side. We need only give it to Him and watch and listen for His guidance."
So whether you are tempted to cave in to sin, or to renounce Christ, or just give up, God won’t let you fall down. When you trust in Him, He will raise you up!
Have a wonderful weekend filled with blessings.

"Am I Strong Enough?"

There have been times I’ve talked about multiple verses in Scripture that tell us not to be afraid. I read that there are 365 references to it in the Bible, one per day, you might say. God assures us repeatedly of His presence in our lives and just what that means. He doesn’t insinuate things, He tells us straight out. He also never deserts us and promises we can trust Him.
I pray for the Christians, our brothers and sisters in Christ, who are being persecuted on a continuous basis. There are so many who are martyred for their faith, even children, refusing to renounce the Lord and accept death rather than do so. What strength, but we know where it comes from.
Scripture is permeated with God’s promises to be with us, and He is with us to the very end, as He won’t cause a righteous person to fall. We stand in the righteousness of Christ, our Savior, and know that God’s promises are for us.
We have problems in our lives at times that we allow to weaken us to the point of giving up on them. We struggle to solve our problems instead of turning them over to the Lord as He tells us to and we lose heart. If God can strengthen those who are being persecuted to the extreme. He can certainly help us through our problems, no matter how serious they are.
“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my
righteous right hand.”
righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10.
It’s a tremendous comfort to read and hear these words repeatedly. Committing Scripture to memory is a great tool of the Holy Spirit working in us. He is the Comforter, after all, and calms our hearts and minds. There are several verses that keep me at peace during troublesome times.
From issues on a global level to personal problems that spring up often, our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. He is on our side. We need only give it to Him and watch and listen for His guidance.
We must remember...
“No temptation has seized you
except what is common to man.
And God is faithful;
He will not let you be tempted
He will not let you be tempted
beyond what you can bear.
But when you are tempted,
But when you are tempted,
He will also provide a way out
so that you can stand up under it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13.
1 Corinthians 10:13.
So whether you are tempted to cave in to sin, or to renounce Christ, or just give up, God won’t let you fall down. When you trust in Him, He will raise you up!
Faithful Father, Thank You for Your love and guidance throughout our lives and for giving us peace through the knowledge of Your promises. Help us to memorize Scriptures that speak powerfully to us through Your Holy Spirit, that we may draw on them for strength and encouragement whenever necessary. Help us to remember to pray for our dear brothers and sisters in You who are being persecuted all over the world. We know there is no problem too big or too small that doesn’t keep You right with us through it all. Keep us looking to You every day of our lives. In Your saving name we pray. Amen.

It is all good!!!
*We have no valid reason to be fearful
because God is near, and He will help us.
because God is near, and He will help us.
*God has built in strength into us because
our temptations are not new.
they are common to man.
our temptations are not new.
they are common to man.
