Today's devotional

"Three Major Things To Remember"

As I meditated on God's Word today I was taken back by the scripture which says....

"Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer."Romans 12:12

That passage is chock full of how to be successful in living for Christ.

The first part states we are to rejoice in Hope. We can always be assured that we can rejoice in hope all our days. Our hope always and forever lies in our Lord Jesus Christ, and we can have full confidence of hope in Him no matter what goes on around us. So each day we can choose to "rejoice in hope!"

The second one we can focus on in that passage is to be patient in tribulation. As we fully rely on our Lord during highly difficult times, we can patiently rest in His arms knowing He will take care of us even during the most intense situations. We can be patient because we know He is with us. We can rest in His arms patiently, because He will carry us through.

The third part of that passage is that we are to continue steadfast in prayer with Him. We are to always be steadfast, immovable, firmly planted in Him and pray continuously. As we do that, our eyes are fixed on Him and we have no time to worry nor fret and be anxious for anything. We can always come boldly to His throne room and pray on going.

All three of those entailed make to be a successful walk in Christ. So I exhort each and everyone of you to walk this out in Rejoicing in Hope, Patient in Tribulation and Continuously Steadfast in Prayer.

You will be gloriously experiencing
His all consuming peace and presence
as you press in hard with Him!
