Good Morning,
Today the theme of the writing is the human desire to reach to people, to come along side them and to encourage them. The writing is a result of a day that the author and her husband going down to an area that has a large population of homeless people. They offered to pray with them. Some accepted and received their Easter egg and prayers. It was edifying to the people receiving and also to the the writer and her husband. Sandy wrote, "I was impacted by the beautiful hearts we encountered and encouraged today. I shall make it a point from here on out to never miss a day to encourage my brethren. We saw what it meant to the precious people today and how it forever changed my life."
It is a great idea to reach out with love and and encourage others on a daily basis.

Today my husband and I had a great
opportunity to encourage the homeless. We filled several plastic colored
eggs with candy, coins and scriptures on
the power of Jesus Christ. Away we went to 7th street
in Austin,Texas and handed out the
plastic eggs to many of the homeless.
Our mission was to encourage each and everyone of the homeless that we
encountered and to ask if they wanted us to pray with them. Many just wanted the
plastic eggs and the contents in them, but many were eager to have us
pray with them and believe with them
that God would do a mighty miracle in their lives.
We were overwhelmed, honored and touched by the response of the people today. As they shared their needs, we held hands with them and came into agreement with them that God would hear and God would answer. The men and women were quick to bow and engage in prayer with us believing our God can do the impossible!!
I was reminded of the scripture verse...
i
"But encourage one another
daily,
as long as it is called
'Today'.."
Hebrews 3:13A
Our God is well aware that we cannot do life alone. We must constantly be
connected to other believers that will
cheer us on and pray for us. We need each
other daily, just as it says in His
Word to encourage one another.
My husband and I only had a certain
amount of eggs to give out and a certain
amount of time we could give today to pray and encourage. We prayed for many, but we realized there
were multitudes of people where we
converged that we were not able to pray with.
The amount of people we saw that were homeless was insurmountable. We
are praying for a better plan for next
year and we shall be ready!
I was impacted by the beautiful hearts we encountered and encouraged today. I shall make it a point from here on out to never miss a day to encourage my brethren. We saw what it meant to the precious people today and how it forever changed my life. I exhort each and everyone of you today to "Encourage one another daily"" and watch God work wondrously in lives.
