Today's devotional is written by Carol Steficek about the importance of attending church with your family. It is especially important for your children. Carol wrote, "Many places in the Bible say that we should not neglect Church fellowship and worship. Sunday should be the central focus of the week for each of us."
See you in church this Sunday!
God bless you,
Carol

"Enter his gates
with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him
and praise his
name."
Psalm 100:4
Growing up with the
church as my second home, gives me many pleasant memories. Mother raised
me to know and come to love the Lord by taking me to church to become active as
she was...she just didn't drop me off.
Sundays should be important
to us if God is important to us. This is a time when we take our week to
God. We receive forgiveness for our sins and failures, strength for the
coming week, comfort for our sorrows, and receive His grace and unconditional
love.
Sunday is also a time for fellowship with other believers. It
provides an oasis in the desert of our weekly wanderings. It is a time
when we can thank and praise god for all of His blessings of the
week.
Many places in the Bible say that we should not neglect church fellowship and
worship. Sunday should be the central focus of the week for each of us.

"Above All"
Nothing will stop a child who has learned
about God as she attended church
with her family. It may not be singing
but God will truly lead her to something awesome.

In one way or another...
In one church or another...
At one age or another
there is value in going to church
every Sunday.
