Saturday Writing...3'30/19..."SMALL ACTS"

Good Morning,

Today's topic is two fold. One is the fact that people are called by God for a purpose. The other important premise is that we need to be the hands and feet of Jesus doing acts of kindness for others. Carol Steficek wrote, "As God's children, we are called to live our lives daily expressing His love to others by what we do."

Today is Saturday. It would be great if the readers could challenge themselves to follow by doing one act of kindness.

"SMALL ACTS"

"Therefore, 

as God's chosen people, 

holy and dearly loved, 

clothe yourselves with
compassion, kindness, humility, 

gentleness, and patience." 

Colossians 3:12

As God's children, we are called to live our lives daily expressing His love to others by what we do.  We are called to do the many small acts of kindness and service which goes unnoticed by the world.  Do you look around you every day to see what you can do for others rather than looking at what you can do for yourself?

There are many ways we can be kind and of service as there are people we come in contact with every day.  Have you ever stood in a line at a grocery store and paid for someone's groceries?  

Have you handed a person a devotional book and wished them a blessed day?  Have you ever offered to give someone a ride when their car isn't working?  Have you visited someone in a nursing home who has no family and friends? 

We are the hands and feet and heart of Jesus.  If you don't do all these acts of kindness He does not have anyone who will.
