Good Morning,
Today the theme is the many reasons we have to praise the Lord and to rejoice in Him. Karen Bennett wrote, "We rejoice in His promise of salvation as well as all His other promises. They were made to guide us through our lives as well as give us hope and peace for our future."
It is good to pray praises and rejoice about all He does.

"Praise The Lord!"

Don’t you just love church services, as we worship our Almighty God through
word and music? Lifting our hearts and voices in praise, we invite and welcome
the Spirit in to strengthen our faith, to demonstrate our faith, and to share our
faith. It’s also obviously something God wants of us. We are to acknowledge all
the wonders of His love. We know we are always heard and never ignored, and we
know we sound beautiful to Him, because He looks at us with His deep unending
love!
Over the last few weeks we’ve heard the word rejoice repeatedly. We rejoiced in
the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rejoicing is prevalent
throughout Scripture. In some Psalms and the book of Isaiah, we even read about
nature rejoicing in the Lord and His works. In Isaiah, God says His word
won’t come back to Him empty. His promises are true.
“So is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish
what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and the hills will burst into song before you
and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”
Isaiah 55:11-12.
It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish
what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and the hills will burst into song before you
and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”
Isaiah 55:11-12.
We rejoice in His promise of salvation as well as all His other promises. They
were made to guide us through our lives as well as give us hope and peace for
our future. As the Israelites left Babylon, so will we leave our captive world of sin
to live in heaven with God! The language of nature rejoicing is figurative, but
it won’t be so for us. We will be genuinely celebrating in Paradise with our
Savior, all the heavenly host, and each other. Perfection!
“Let the rivers clap their hands,
let the mountains sing together for joy;
let
them sing before the Lord,
for He comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the
world in righteousness
and the peoples with equity.”
Psalm 97:8-9.
From then on the bliss is eternal. God’s promises will have come to fruition to never end!
Eternal God, thank you for promising us an eternity without blemish, won for us
by Your only Son, the Lamb without blemish! While Your continued, loving
presence helps us each day of our earthly sojourn, we wait with great
anticipation for Your perfect world which lies ahead. We rejoice now and will
rejoice without end then. Thank You for always forgiving our repentant hearts.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
