Good Morning,
Today the theme is that if we want to know God and hear His voice we need to be familiar with His word. Reading the Bible make it easier to recognize God when He speaks to us. Carol (the writer) wrote, "Do you want to know God's heart? Spend time daily in His Word, pray continually, fellowship and grow with other believers, seek God's wisdom first in all things. Seek Him first and you will come to know more and more of His heart."
This is a good word!

I Samuel 13:14b
I've always been a bit
envious of some biblical figures. David was chosen because he was a man
after God's own heart. God spoke with Moses face to face. Joseph
was given special knowledge about interpreting dreams. John saw visions
of the future and was taken up to heaven for the revelations he wrote in the
book of Revelation.
What I've discovered, however, is that God is no
respecter of persons. He wants to have an intimate relationship with each
of His children and will speak to each of us in a way that is unique. He
wants us to be steeped in His Word so we can know His heart and learn to
respond to His guiding and fulfill His will for our lives. It is exciting
for me to think that I can really know God!
The Creator, Redeemer,
and Lover of my soul wants me to know Him and walk through life with Him.
That is truly amazing. Do you want to know God's heart? Spend time daily
in His Word, pray continually, fellowship and grow with other believers, seek
God's wisdom first in all things. Seek Him first and you will come to
know more and more of His heart.
