Good Morning,
Scripture is filled with instances where God did not do what could have been expected. The most well known "But God" scripture is Romans 5:8. The fact is that God (but God) loved us in-spite of our failures and sinfulness. The whole written history of God found in the Bible shows that from the sin of Adam and Eve through the death of Jesus for our salvation and onto the present day God had and still has a plan to make it possible for His children to be with Him in heaven for eternity. Bre Miller wrote, "Instead of this mind-set that God loves us because of how awesome we are, we need to look to scripture and remember that we are not good enough. That’s right. We are not good enough and we never will be…But (for) God.
Just keep on keeping on as best as we can and know that God is our Father, who loves us.

"You Are Not Good Enough………But God"

“For one
will hardly die for a righteous man;
though perhaps for the good man
someone would dare even to die.
someone would dare even to die.
But God
demonstrates His own love toward us
in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:7-8

A very
popular thing among Bible studies for women is boosting self-esteem.Talking
about how we are daughters of The King and how great we are. Don’t get me
wrong, there is nothing wrong with knowing your worth and loving your body, but
the focus isn’t to be on us. We should be loving our bodies because God created
them. We should know our worth because Christ died for us.
Instead of this
mind-set that God loves us because of how awesome we are, we need to look to scripture
and remember that we are not good enough. That’s right. We are not good enough
and we never will be…But God. Many verses in The Bible show time and time again
that though we are not good enough, God is, and he loves us in spite of us, not
because of us.image oo
We are weak, but He is strong.
This isn’t
to say that we should feel bad about ourselves, but our focus should not be on
us. It should be on Him. Its all about Him. We were created for His glory, His
purpose, His plan. Isn’t it so freeing to know that no matter what we do, we
can’t outdo God? We can’t be good enough.
What that means is that all we have to do is love Him and obey Him. We don’t have to reach that goal of being good enough. Its arrogant to think we He gives us in spite of our weakness, sin and our flesh. All we have to do is listen to Him word and His spirit.

All we
have to do is say,
”Yes God. Its all about You.
”Yes God. Its all about You.
I will follow You.”
