We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Thursday Devotional...2/28/19..."Cleaning Up"

Good Morning,

Today's writing talks about the debris a person can leave behind by the mistakes and choices they make in their lives. Such messes have to be dealt with by those who follow them. Beverley Napier is the author of this devotional. She wrote, "One of the deepest convictions of my heart  is to leave behind a "clean" path for those behind me. I don't want to cause any of them to have to "step over" or deal with any "debris" I've left in their way."

It is a good plan to attempt to clean up your mistakes and seek reconciliation.

Thank you for reading this devotional.

"Cleaning Up"
Written by

One of the deepest convictions of my heart  is to leave behind a "clean" path for those behind me. I don't want to cause any of them to have to "step over" or deal with any "debris" I've left in their way. I don't want the path I leave to be "littered" with the things I could've taken care of. Myself.

Each generation has their own distinct challenges, and I don't want to burden them with the remainders. Of mine. It's not that I haven't made my own fair share of mistakes. I have. But in each of those "places" I continue to ask for God's grace. Whether its been in relationships, actions or behavior. I try to recognize my own part and then be willing to work towards a resolution.

Sometimes resolution ends in reconciliation. Other times it doesn't. It depends on whether or not the other party is willing to partner with you. Either way. Its important to me to do my part. I believe God partners with each one of us in this. And helps us. Because He is a God of reconciliation, and He specializes in "bridging the gap." He "closes the distance" and makes those things that are broken. Whole again.

He restores and He brings hope. He is the hope of reconciliation. Himself. So don't grow weary. Don't give up. Don't allow yourself. To become defeated. By what you see around you. See past it. Sow into it. With prayers. And faith. Then watch. Keep your eyes. Upon the horizon. For your God will show up. He will surely rescue. Save. And restore. All that the enemy has stolen.

Because greater is He Who is in you. Than he who is in the world.

"He is able to [carry out His purpose and]

do super-abundantly more than all that we dare ask or think
[infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams],
according to His power that is at work within us."
Ephesians 3:20 amp

"BEAUTIFUL MESSES"

SUNG BY

HILLARY SCOTT

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We all make messes as we go through our lives.
They are caused by mistakes we make
and our poor decisions in life.
These wreak havoc in our lives
and in the lives we affect by these choices
Cleaning them up can be difficult,
and we end up with the resulting debris
covering us with messiness.
However,
the result of our working on cleaning up our messes
form a beautiful pattern of color and design
that makes the debris and hurtful things
melt into memories that can be treasured
by those who come after us.
