Today's Devotional
"Unchanging"
A poem

Unchanging
Ah dear Jesus, Your word is clear
And we understand Your direction.
The answers to so many questions
Were answered with Your resurrection.
You not only taught with Your words,
But You then showed us You are the WAY.
And because You never change
We know it is still true today.
Your TRUTH was shared with all,
The great beauty of it glistened.
It settled deep in the hearts
Of all who truly listened.
Belief was the key then
And of course, it still is now.
We know You are the LIFE
And to You we humbly bow.
We worship You and we praise You,
You are our Lord and our King.
All our prayers to You do rise
From hearts that joyfully sing.
Our hope is in You, Lord Jesus.
This life is made easier by knowing
You are the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE,
And our faith in You keeps growing
One day there will be a trumpet call
And all believers will be gathered to You.
All we have hoped for we will have at last,
By sharing perfect eternal life with You too!
