Today we are reading about how we experience great pleasure in the Lord as we wait on the Lord and watch  Him and how He shows us His loving care as He shows us his provision and awareness of our hopes and desires. Sandy wrote, "Sit back and be amazed, and watch Him move in beautiful ways in your life! As He does, you can share with others and point them to Him, revealing what a Glorious God  we have!"

"Take Great Pleasure In The Lord"

I recently received a beautiful necklace from a friend I hadn't seen for months on end. She knew it was something  I would like and she made the effort to bless me with it. What she didn't know is that it was a necklace that I really had my eye on several years ago and totally loved. I never had  the opportunity  to purchase it.   When I  opened it, I was  pleasantly surprised and was reminded how God is even interested in the small details of our life and wants  to bless us. He never forgets any details in our life.

When we spend time with Jesus and His Word and draw near to Him, He not only speaks to us  but He  gives  us the desires of our hearts in a multitude  of ways. It clearly states that in the word...

"Trust in the Lord,  and do good; 

Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 

Delight yourself also in the Lord, 

And He shall give you the desires of your heart."

Psalm 37: 3-

As we take pleasure in the Lord, He will awaken astonishment in our hearts. He will show us His  greatness and His ways continuously. As we  feed on all of  His faithfulness and delight fully in Him, He surely will give  us the desires of our hearts.

You see when we trust and obey Him and walk with Him, He  has great things in store for us. Just like parents love  to shower their children  with gifts, our Abba Daddy loves to shower us (His Kids)  with His Blessings. Not only with Blessings, but specific Blessings and specific answers to the prayers we have brought before His throne room. He knows the things  that we like and is overwhelmed with joy to bless us. And because we choose to walk closely with Him, the things that Bless us will line up with His Word and His Ways. 

I know how much my Heavenly Father loves me, and I knew it was a token of His love when I received the necklace from my friend. I  encourage  you today to take GREAT PLEASURE in the LORD, sit back and be amazed, and watch Him move in beautiful ways in your life! As He does, you can share with others and point them to Him, revealing what a Glorious God  we have!
