Women's Focus Ministries

We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Monday Writing...11/19/18..."Always Practice Gratitude"

Good Morning,

We have entered the holiday season this week. It is a joyful time of the year. Thanksgiving is a time of celebrating all the gifts we have received from God and those around us. However gratitude is not just for celebrating on the official day, it is a way to live daily. Here is a quote from this writing, "We, as Spirit filled believers, know that this isn't just a one day event – more like every moment of our life we praise and thank our Father for His awesomeness!"

A activity that would bless us would be to create a personal acrostic
using the letters in the word

Today's Devotional

"Always Practice Gratitude"
 presented by
Corinne Mustafa

This week in our nation we celebrate the annual day of thanking God for His provision, providence, and goodness toward all of humanity.  We, as Spirit filled believers, know that this isn't just a one day event – more like every moment of our life we praise and thank our Father for His awesomeness!  We can join with the angels and elders standing around the throne and worshipping God.

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever.
 Amen.”

Revelation 7:12

As a ‘fun’ way of calling to mind what we are thankful for, try making an acrostic poem using the word THANKSGIVING.  This is where you use each letter of the word to begin a word or phrase that expresses thanksgiving to Father.  As an example:

T – Time spent with loved ones
H – Homes filled with warmth and love.
A – Abundance of blessings to be a blessing to others.
N – Needs fulfilled
K – Kindness shown in tangible ways.
– Savior, Son, Salvation, Sanctification
G – Gifts of power
 I – Indescribable beauty of God’s creation.
V – Victory over permanent death.
I – Inspiration of the Holy Spirit to bless others.
N – Neighbors who come to our aid.
G – God, our Father
