Good Morning,
Today the writing affirms that when there are things that do not belong in our lives it is important to take care of them quickly before they gain a foothold that is hard to remove or to stop the ramifications their presence will cause. Sandy wrote, "I encourage you my Friend to catch those foxes before they take up residence in your life. I can assure you as you do, you will be Victorious in every way!!"
Let's all commence our campaign to achieve victory as soon as possible.
Victorious over little foxes!

"Nip Them In the Bud...."

We recently have been experiencing small moths coming into our house and
attaching themselves to our ceiling in the kitchen. I am sure it has a lot to
do with the abundance of rain we have been having as well as the season of fall
that brings them forth. Every day I take
my mini -vacuum and consume the moths up with the nozzle. I have probably
captured hundreds of these tiny little creatures in the component of the vacuum
cleaner that holds the waste materials. I am determined that these little guys
will not overtake our kitchen!
Doesn't that liken to how the enemy loves to come in and entice us with
sin. That takes on forms in many ways. It could be believing and walking in the lies of the enemy. We may choose to allow our hearts
to grow cold towards our God and our family and His people. Those temptations
that face us every day we have a choice whether to give in, or call out to
Jesus for strength to overcome.
That very thing reminds me of a scripture...
"Catch us the foxes,
The little foxes that spoil the vines,
For our vines have tender grapes."
Song of Solomon 2:15
The little foxes that spoil the vines,
For our vines have tender grapes."
Song of Solomon 2:15
The little foxes can refer to many things as I
previously shared, such as unbelief, resistance and hardness of heart. I know
the list can go on and on. It is those specific things that can spoil the vines
and bring us down to a "spiritual stoop" in our life.
It is the the little foxes that we may allow in our hearts that can steal,
kill and destroy our relationships, our emotions, affects our jobs, and can
even affect our health. We want to protect those 'tender grapes' on our vines
so the enemy can not take us out. We want our love for Christ and others to
overflow through us continuously.
Just as I am consuming the tiny moths on
a regular basis; we too have to consume the little foxes on a regular
basis. We must immediately take action and wipe out those little foxes that
would try to overtake us in our every day life.
We must depend and trust on our Loving Saviour. When satan knocks, we must
run into the Lord's arms and embrace Him and His Word and stand strong in Him,
immovable and steadfast!
I encourage you my Friend to catch those foxes before they take up
residence in your life. I can assure you as you do, you will be Victorious in
every way!!

Fear of the Lord...what is that?
It is a healthy realization that God is our Father; He loves us;
like any good Father He must discipline His children when they
require it. That does not imply fear in the common sense. We
should compare it to the respect that helps a child to act
and be the person that a parent expects them to be. We can
apply that to the words "fear of the Lord," which builds wisdom
and knowledge in us.

This process builds insight which we can take
