Women's Focus Ministries

We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Friday's Devotional...9/21/2018... "Is There Any Question?"

Good Morning,

The topic today is serving God in-spite of busyness and the challenges of life duties vs time available.  Karen wrote, "We can be faithful Christians in all our daily dealings and ask Your help in doing just that. Help us to budget our time to be able to commune with You in prayer each day as we should, seeking Your will for us."

Lets try to reach out to God in a quiet time to receive His leading for our life. Then we should work secular behavior in the day by acts of that can include choices of behavior that will be serving Him.

Today's Devotional
 "Is There Any Question?"
Written by
Karen Bennett

There should never be any question

in our hearts and minds on who we serve.

With all that occurs daily in our lives,
it’s easy to lose track on occasion.

We get carried away in busyness and find time a rare commodity that’s at a premium. Suddenly we can be lost in all our activity and fret over the day’s remaining time for getting things accomplished.  Of course, there are those days we feel the need for some activities to be placed on the next day’s agenda. We fall into bed exhausted. At times our minds are still on overdrive and those when we fall to sleep immediately, completely exhausted. In either case, we often forget to pray.

Serving God means giving Him honor in prayer as well as doing all the other things so
important to the Christian life. Those things, for a few, are attending church, Christian family activity, working and giving to help those in need, and telling others at each opportunity why we love our Lord and what He has done for us. It’s living in faith, honesty, and integrity to be good ambassadors for the God who loved us so much, He sent His only begotten Son to die for us. It’s living with great gratitude in our hearts for His provision and for all His beautiful promises that are joy as well as balm to our hearts and minds.

He is everything we could ever want or need, a loving Father who does only what’s best for His children. A loving father chastises His children to teach them well also, and creates a need for Him so strong in us, we are keenly aware life is nothing without Him.

This is not an overnight process. It’s ongoing through life, but it’s all part of serving Him. Is there any question of who we should serve first?

“Choose for yourselves this day
whom you will serve .....
But as for me and my house,
We will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15.

Father, we want to serve You in all we do. We can be faithful Christians in all our daily dealings and ask Your help in doing just that. Help us to budget our time to be able to commune with You in prayer each day as we should, seeking Your will for us. Be with us and our families we pray. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen
.
