Today's Devotional

"DWELL IN SAFETY"

"I will lie down and sleep in peace, 

for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." 

Psalm 4:8

The world certainly isn't a safe place for anyone anymore.  There are so many stories of evil every day in the newspapers and on television news that sometimes we turn it off -- tired of hearing about it.

Modern technology, for all of its benefits, has also created a problem with internet theft and telephone monitoring.  We have no privacy and thus no safety anymore.  So what is a person to do?

Find your safety and security in the only One who is really able to guarantee it -- our heavenly Father.  Seek His presence daily in His Word.  He will give you direction.  He has already been in the future and so knows how to wisely guide you.  Say a prayer when you feel in danger and His angels will surround you with their protection.
