We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Thursday Writing..."Excellence"...5/17/18

Good Morning,

As you can see by the title today's topic is about excellence as we go through life. God created us as you will read here. It can be a rocky, hilly road to climb as you will see in this writing. We flub, fail, and make mistakes along the way. But God uses it all to increase our acumen. The trick is to follow the side road named, "Never Give Up." Here is a quote from this writing, "Our mistakes, bad choices and wrong responses to offenses and hurt can all be used by God to direct the each and every decision we make today.

So today be brave and step your foot in the cold water and give it a try. Your mistakes will not hurt you if you learn the lesson.

God bless you all,
Brother Thomas, Jody, and Corinne

"Excellence"

My dear friend, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper. I pray that in all respects, all goes well for you, and you have good fortune in everything you do.

How I truly love you. I pray for your good health, physically, just as I know your soul prospers spiritually. I hope that you are as strong in body as I know you are in spirit.

  3 John 1.2

God created us to excel at every level (Gen. 1:26-28.) Having been redeemed, God has now given us again the ability to realign our lives to the spirit of excellence.

Every part of our new life carries the ability to excel, but that ability is linked directly to the decisions we make on a daily basis.

The person who looks back at us in the mirror is the only one person who can activate the spirit of excellence within us. To excel is a choice and, and when that choice is made, it is important to realize that we have only just started the journey.

Excellence is attained through the continual focus on our purpose for living because the journey to excellence is a process. It will take us through many valleys, high hills, and even the desolate wilderness in order for us to reach to the mountaintop.

In the face of the many distractions along the way, we must determine to focus on our goal. That focused determination will help us to stand up, and continue, even after a fall. On the journey to excellence, we will sometimes make grievous mistakes in our decisions and choices, or even fail in our efforts.

But one thing remains clear. Anyone that wants to excel does not give up at the point of failure. Trial and failure, when handled positively, and according to the hope of God’s word, provides us with the experiences we need to perfect the process of decision making and Godly choices.

When we hang on to our goals and cling to our purpose, those failures and mistakes will become lessons that will produce the ingredients for excellence.

We cannot let our past control our future, but instead, we must allow God to use the lessons of our past to perfect us. Our mistakes, bad choices and wrong responses to offenses and hurt can all be used by God to direct the each and every decision we make today.

  "I HAVE MADE MISTAKES"
  Sung by
The Oh Hello's

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We all make mistakes in life...too many to count.
We say we will be better, but the life flubs continue.
Look on the sunny side and realize the benefits
we receive from our mistakes.
In the end, they are a source of great insight,
and God uses them to teach us!
Just.....
LOL!
