Good morning.
This writing concerns itself with the importance of factoring time with Jesus that increases our realization of how much he loves us. There is a need for reasonable priorities so that everything begins to come before and ahead of spending time with God. Carol has some advice about which she wrote, "Do you want to accomplish more and better with your day? Start out your day with God. He'll give you everything you need."
A good word!!
Enjoy your weekend.

"DISTRACTED?"
by

"But Martha was distracted
by all the preparations that had to be made."
Luke 10:39a
Once most of us get out of bed and get going into our routines for the day, and we encounter myriads of distractions. There are more and more things, especially in this technological age, which vie for our attention. Sometimes it is difficult to see our priorities and pay attention to our families and friends.
What about God? It is important that each of us plan some part of each day to be solely with the Lord. We all need quiet time with Him to gain the proper perspective on life, attain wisdom, and to receive strength for the day.
I start each day with devotions and quiet time with the Lord. I read the Bible, daily devotionals, sing hymns and pray. I have come to value this time in the morning with the Lord above all else. It is what gets me off on the right track. I like thinking that the God of the universe would spend some time
just with me! This is an honor and a
privilege.
just with me! This is an honor and a
privilege.
Jesus wants us to not become so busy and distracted that we lose sight of Him. God doesn't want us for an hour or two weekly in church and Bible class. He wants to be an intimate part of our lives -- closer than a brother or friend.
Do you want to accomplish more and better with your day? Start out your day with God. He'll give you everything you need.
