Good Morning,
Some words in our vocabulary have become diluted from misuse or overuse, for instance, "love" and "faith." Some words in our vocabulary have become lost. These include reverence, awe, devout, and godliness. This is true even among Christians.

The theme of today's writing is that reverence must be a part of all our actions with reference to God and how we think and behave. He is the Holy of Holies and it is our responsibility to treat Him as such. Carol wrote, "God is way beyond who we can really comprehend in this life and has power beyond our imaginations. We would do well to revere being allowed into His presence."
Loving our time in His presence,

Today's Devotional
"REVERENCE"
by Carol Steficek
"Observe my Sabbaths
and have reverence for my sanctuary.
I am the Lord."
Leviticus 19:30
The entrance to our church sanctuary in Michigan said something to the effect that as we entered we were to be quiet and meditate in the presence of God.
Now I know that being in church is a time of fellowship. I do feel, however, that we should talk and socialize outside the entrance to the church proper, or outside during the coffee hour, or in the fellowship hall.
Once inside the sanctuary, we should become quiet and take the few minutes before the service starts to meditate and start getting our minds focused on God. We need to recognize God for who He is -- our creator, redeemer, and the One who makes us holy by the power of His indwelling Spirit.
God is way beyond who we can really comprehend in this life and has power beyond our imaginations. We would do well to revere being allowed into His presence.

This is a Messianic Worship song
sung by Paul Wilber
"For Your Name is Holy -
I Enter the Holy of Holies"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once we are aware of the holiness of God
we need to pursue Him with all our love and reverence.
we need to pursue Him with all our love and reverence.
