Women's Focus Ministries

We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Saturday Writing..."BLINDNESS"...4/21/18

Good Morning,

The theme for today is that when we have been blinded by God from receiving the input of the Holy Spirit and His power we begin to suffer from spiritual blindness. Carol wrote, "If you do not know Jesus, ask Him to forgive your sins and come into your life.  He will illumine your life with the glory of His presence.  Come out of your blindness and really see!"

Open your eyes He is just beside you!

Today's Devotional
"BLINDNESS"
by
Carol Steficek

"The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers
so that they cannot see the light of the gospel
of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
II Corinthians 4:4

I have been blessed to be a Christian all of my life.  My mind was infused with the power of the Holy Spirit at my baptism.

Reading the Bible is a joy and pleasure to me and is my guide for life.  Sometimes I have wondered why so many people do not see Biblical truths which seem so evident to me.

Ah, the above passage explains it all.  Satan is the god of this age and he is expending his time and effort in leading people away from the truth of the One True God.  The sad thing is, Satan knows the truth.  He was one of God's highest ranking angels before he rebelled and was cast out of heaven.

All of us are created by God in His image, and He wants us to know the truth about Him.  Men without God would rather walk in darkness than see the light of the gospel.  It is impossible to walk in pitch darkness with no light.  So it is to live without God.

If you do not know Jesus, ask Him to forgive your sins and come into your life.  He will illumine your life with the glory of His presence.  Come out of your blindness and
really see!

We cannot see when the Holy Spirit lights are out.
This leaves us blind to His leading
and virtually in the dark.
