Monthly Writing for July by Cathy Friberg.....7/3/17

Good morning,

Cathy Friberg is one of our Monthly Writer's. She submits a writing at the beginning of each month. This month her writing is titled, "EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD............." Her writing is about meeting where the speaker had a near death experience she participated in recently. There are some interesting concepts that Cathy described from the talk. Cathy wrote, "She then proceeded to explain to the group the concept of salvation. With tears in her eyes, she let her audience know that a glorious reward awaits those who believe in the Son Jesus and in His sacrifice on the cross for us."

Whenever we hear someone talk about a near death experience there is a similar recall of what they have seen in heaven. Without a doubt eyes have not seen....yet!!!

God bless
Cathy and Corinne

Today's Devotional
'EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD.............'

I was recently invited to our Women's Aglow adviser's home to hear a very unique Christian testimony. When I arrived, there were about 15 people in attendance. Fumiko Susa, a Pastor from Nagano, Japan proceeded to speak about  an experience she had approximately 12 years ago. Dressed in a lovely pink Kimono type robe and wearing a striking gold cross about her neck, Pastor Susa had our full attention.

This slender gentle lady made known to us that she had suffered a severe fall in her home. The injury to her head was quite serious and she was soon taken by ambulance to the hospital. She does not remember anything after the fall, in the earthly realm ........ that day. The next thing Fumiko recalled was that she was floating about, raising her arms, and praising the Lord......in heaven!  She had been transported to a celestial sphere more glorious than she could have ever imagined. Pastor Susa could hardly contain her joy as she related to us what she saw and felt in that dazzling domain.

Our speaker reported that she saw huge rainbows, made of crystals and diamonds. Nature was all about her and everything was glistening and shining. There were gorgeous sparkling waterfalls.

She remembers shouting with out reservation, "Oh how beautiful and amazing!! " She attributed her lack of inhibition to the fact that she had become "as a little child."

"Truly I tell you,
anyone who will not receive
the Kingdom of God like a little child
will never enter it."
Luke 18:17
( NIV)

She felt as though she had become as pure and innocent as a baby or a toddler. There was no carnality whatsoever.

Pastor Susa relayed that she "saw" no pain or crying in heaven.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain,
for the old order of things has passed away."
Revelation 21:4
(NIV)

She felt as though she "went inside" the Body of Jesus and became one with Him. She sensed that she was wrapped in God's love and she had no worries.

Another impression this gracious lady had was that in heaven everyone is equal. There was no self condemnation. The atmosphere was one of happiness and joy.

She further shared...
" And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts,
in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them,
as a man spareth his own son that serveth him."
Malachi 3:17.
(KJV)

Pastor declared that our souls will become like jewels shining in the heavenlies. She saw magnificent jewels gleaming all around her. It looked as though the jewels had mouths and praise was coming forth from those mouths.

The Lord told Fumiko that He had given her a gift and that He was sending her back to earth to share that gift with the world.

Pastor Susa stated that she was in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital for three days and that she did have a surgery.  She said that the type of injury she sustained has a 90 percent death rate. At best, she should have been confined indefinitely to a wheelchair or a bed. However, she is perfectly fine and she experienced no pain!

She then proceeded to explain to the group the concept of salvation. With tears in her eyes, she let her audience know that a glorious reward awaits those who believe in the Son Jesus and in His sacrifice on the cross for us. For you see, that most of those gathered together that day were also Japanese and some of them were Buddists. Pastor Susa prayed that all would be saved and experience this eternal bliss with our Lord Jesus.

Helen, our hostess, is of Japanese descent, herself. She had invited her friends to hear this touching and miraculous testimony. Afterwards we shared a lovely meal together. I was grateful to be invited to this meeting.

Lord, we thank you, that despite any present sufferings we endure, someday we will share never ending joy with you in heaven. Father, we pray that you would help us to minister the gospel in our own sphere of influence. Holy Spirit, we welcome your creative ideas for friendship evangelism and thank you for the grace and wisdom to carry out your plans.
