Good Morning,

The writing today is by Brother Thomas and Jody. The title is, "How God Communicates." God has many ways that He speaks to His people, and many of these are spoken about in this writing. Here is a quote "Jesus shines out with God’s glory and authority, and all that God’s Son is, and does, marks Him as God." Jesus is many things, but the main explanation of who He is would be that He is GOD.

Today's Devotional 

"How God Communicates"

Long ago, at different times and in various ways, God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets, in visions, in dreams and even face to face, telling them little by little about His plans. Through the voices and writings of a long line of prophets, and in each separate revelation, God has been addressing our ancestors and revealing a portion of the truth, for centuries. 

But in these last days, He has spoken to us directly by His Son. He has spoken to us, with finality, through His Son.

  

For Jesus, the Son, is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being. He is the perfect imprint of His Father’s nature and essence. Jesus is the only expression of the full glory of our awesome God, shimmering with God’s Shekinah glory, the brilliant light of the divine. He is the flawless mirror of God Himself.

This is our Jesus. God appointed Him heir and lawful owner of all things and through Him, He made the universe. This is His son, Jesus, who has been given dominion over every thing and through Him all the worlds were made.

For Jesus Himself sustains all things that exist by His declaration. He regulates the universe, from the smallest speck of life to the infinite space of the heavens, all by the mighty force of His command. The entire physical and spiritual universe is upheld, maintained and propelled by His powerful word.

Jesus offered Himself on the cross as a sacrifice for sin. He, and no other, made the offering that cleansed us from all our sins. He alone accomplished purification and established our freedom from guilt.

Once this was finished, Jesus sat down at the right hand of God, demonstrating His completed work of redemption and His Divine authority.

Jesus shines out with God’s glory and authority, and all that God’s Son is, and does, marks Him as God.

Hebrews 1.1-3

Is your Jesus your voice from God? Is He your final word? Is He the glory of God to you? Is He the king of heaven itself?  Is He the mirror of God to you?

Is Jesus the ruler of your world? Does He sustain you? Uphold you? Bring order to your life? Regulate you?

Is Jesus your sacrifice for sin? The cleanser of your life? Is He your purifier and provider of righteousness? Is He your freedom from shame and guilt? Is His sacrifice complete and settled in your life? Is the work Jesus did on the cross finished for you or do you keep trying to add to it?

Is He the author and finisher of your faith? King of your heart? Your Divine authority? Is Jesus God’s Son, and God, to you?

Who is Jesus to you? 

Today, take the time 

to ask the deep questions,

 reflecting on 

who Jesus is to you.
