Good morning,
Karen Bennett has written today's topic, that faith cannot just be a feeling..."Faith Is An Action Verb." She tells us that faith requires some passing it on to help others learn and change their lives. These things are taught by Jesus who is our best friend. Karen wrote this prayer.....
"Dear Father - Thank You for the faith instilled in us by the power of Your Holy Spirit. May we continue to follow Your word and fill our cups to overflowing. Let us share Your love and good news with everyone we can, to Your great glory! In Jesus' name. Amen!"
Maybe you can make yourself a project to put your faith into action tomorrow.
God bless,
Karen and Corinne

Faith can move mountains. Jesus said...
When we are doing God's will and following His path, our faith in Him will lead us to conquer whatever blocks our way.
Jesus tells us to pray for things as though we already had them and they will be ours. We must keep ourselves within God's will for us, believe Him, trust Him, follow the path He laid out for us, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and your path in Him will be made known to you.
Have faith, live it, and you'll see,
The peace of mind this gives us is unlike anything else we know. It's the peace that passes all understanding and keeps our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Yes, we will struggle from time to time, but all we need do is go to that action verb - faith - and PUT it into action. We feel new and ready to face and conquer any block in the way to what God has in store for us. Let's live our faith and remember that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Dear Father - Thank You for the faith instilled in us by the power of Your Holy Spirit. May we continue to follow Your word and fill our cups to overflowing. Let us share Your love and good news with everyone we can, to Your great glory! In Jesus' name. Amen!

Today's Devotional
"Faith Is An Action Verb"
Have you ever really examined your faith? Do you ever worry about caving in under pressure? Did you ever feel prayer won't be effective because your problem(s) is insurmountable, the obstacle way too large?
Most Christians confront these questions at some time during their faith walk and many far more than once in their lifetimes.
Faith is an action verb. It's not something that lies dormant within us. It should be lived and continue to grow and to overcome through Jesus. So much of Scripture tells us God is with us, He will strengthen us, He will help us, and never leave us. We can be confident and trusting in His great love and presence in our lives
.
God is far greater than any problem or obstacle we may face. There is nothing He can't correct, nothing He can't overcome. We must always remember with God nothing is impossible. He is our guide each and every day. We make sure we are following God's word and that we are on the right path, then ask Him to remove any obstacles.
Faith can move mountains. Jesus said...
"I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed,
you will say to this mountain,
' Move from here to there',
and it will move; and nothing
will be impossible for you."
Matthew 17:20
17:20When we are doing God's will and following His path, our faith in Him will lead us to conquer whatever blocks our way.
"Whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith."
1 John 5:4.
Jesus tells us to pray for things as though we already had them and they will be ours. We must keep ourselves within God's will for us, believe Him, trust Him, follow the path He laid out for us, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and your path in Him will be made known to you.
We have friends in our lives who are there for us when we need them. They are treasured gifts from God, but our best friend ever is Jesus. Like the old hymn,"What A Friend We Have In Jesus" tells us, it's a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. It says we forfeit our peace and bare needless pain when we do NOT carry everything to God in prayer.
"In all these things we overwhelmingly conquer
through Him who loved us..."
Romans 8: 37
Amen!
