How does this occur? It happens as we immerse ourselves in the living Word of God and make it a part of who we are. The Word begins to change us so that we begin to do the will of God in our lives. We begin to look beyond our own interests to serve others. We begin to forgive others no matter how they have hurt or offended us. We begin to love the unlovable. We want to follow God's commandments for our lives because we learn that His ways are best.

HIDDEN WORDS
"I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you."
Psalm 119:11
Sanctification -- the work of the Holy Spirit within our hearts -- is a life-long process. It is something which transforms us from the inside out.
How does this occur? It happens as we immerse ourselves in the living Word of God and make it a part of who we are. The Word begins to change us so that we begin to do the will of God in our lives.
