We are a group of Christian women (and one man) who write daily devotionals and other articles of interest to women.
We publish daily. Praying that you will enjoy this ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Corinne Mustafa.......and the Writing Staff of "WFM"

One of our writers is writing a novel, called AFTER THE EVENT, that is published Saturdays separately from the daily posts. There is a link on the left side that will take you to the blog of the novel which is being posted in installments.

Thursday Writings......9/22/16

Good Morning,

Today's devotional was co-written by  Brother Thomas Ukwute and Jody Ward. The title is "ALWAYS DECLARE HIS GREATNESS," and is anchored by 2 Timothy 1:7. The theme of this writing is that God has created His people not to have a spirit of weakness but to have a spirit of strength which gives us balance in all things. Jody wrote, "No matter how tough the situation might be, continue to declare His greatness over every aspect of your difficulty."

Have a blessed Thursday...
God bless from Corinne, Brother Thomas and Jody

Thursday Devotional

"ALWAYS DECLARE HIS GREATNESS"
over every aspect of a difficulty...

For the Spirit God has given us is not a spirit of cowardice or fear. Instead, He has given us a spirit of power and of love. The gift God gave is not a spirit of cowardice and cringing weakness. In its place He has given us a spirit of strength and wisdom, calmness and a sound mind. This results in us being well balanced, strong, disciplined and self-controlled, able to be bold, loving and sensible, all at the same time.

Brother Thomas Ukwute
2 Timothy 1:7

God's grace is stronger than my weaknesses. His power is stronger than my fears. His wisdom is deeper and smarter than my questions. The power of His love is the force that conquers the most wicked heart. His blood is the only power that can cleanse sin and bring redemption. His name is the only tower of safety for the righteous.

You were created for excellence so do not let any situation tell you otherwise. The present situation that confronts you does not, and cannot, define what you will become in God's hand tomorrow.

Don't doubt His gifts, His Spirit, His grace, His love, His wisdom, His power or His name. No matter how tough the situation might be, continue to declare His greatness over every aspect of your difficulty.

Snippets of Spiritual Insights  from Beverley

After  removing my rings I forgot to put them back on. The next day I noticed the permanent indentation my wedding ring had made. It caused me to think of Harry and how much I love him. It then reminded me of Isaiah 49:16 and how the Lord says that He has "engraved us on the palms of His hands." This is the thing. Although I am so used to seeing my ring there, it was actually the absence of it that reminded my heart of its significance. It made me wonder if it could be the same with the Lord. That perhaps it's when we are feeling the most "absent" from Him that His thoughts
and love towards us are the closest.
