Good Morning...
Yesterday I had an experience that totally blessed me. Franklin Graham is appearing in every state capital in this country. He plans to visit 50 states in 50 days. Today in Augusta, Maine was his 36th state, His trip is called "Decision America," and encourages Americans to Pray, Vote, and Engage. Rev. Graham quoted Nehemiah 1:2-7
2 Hanani, one of my brothers, came from Judah with some other men, and I questioned them about the Jewish remnant that had survived the exile, and also about Jerusalem.
3 They said to me, “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.”
4 When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. 5 Then I said:
“Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you. 7 We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses.
He pointed out that our moral walls are down. He led us in prayer for the country, its leaders, its schools and teachers, for people of integrity would step forward and become the kind of leaders that are needed. He prayed for families, and he prayed for a candidate who would appoint good judges.
There were more than 3200 people in that park which is huge when you consider a state like Maine. I wish you all could have been there with me.

The devotional for Wednesday is written by Sandy Billingham and is titled "The Goodness Of God." Sandy points out that the Lord has always and will always give us good things. Even after He has had a time of rebuking us for the evil that we have done He always forgives and lavishes His love on us. Sandy writes, "We serve a good, good Daddy that is forever lavishing His love upon us. We will forever speak of His goodness all our days!!"

"The Goodness Of God"
I think we could talk about God's goodness for hours and there still would be so many wonderful things to share about Him. His goodness never stops on our behalf. Our Lord is always there for us and takes the very best of care of us. Man will disappoint us, but our God will never disappoint.
His Word says...
"For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land,
a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs,
that flow out of valleys and hills."
Deuteronomy 8:7
That chapter goes on to share of His many blessings that He pours out to His people.
He desires to bless us in every way and that we walk in His abundance and all of His blessings. All of His promises in His Word are for His people and He is faithful to release those to us.
Our God wants to bring us into a good land with His rivers of Living water flowing in our life. His rivers of living water are springing up within us continually. His life is ever flowing through us because He lives in us.
We serve a good, good Daddy that is forever lavishing His love upon us. We will forever speak of His goodness all our days!!
